Our Mission & Core Values
At Deerfoot Dental, our mission is to provide our community with generations of healthy smiles. We believe no one should live in fear of the dentist. We work hard to create a calming environment to ensure your time with us is relaxed, comfortable, and stress-free. Our practice feels like home. We believe in building a legacy for our patients, their families, and future generations. We strive to create personal relationships founded on trust and respect to carry on a tradition of quality care. We understand the importance of oral health in helping you achieve total health and wellness, and we treat you as a whole person, not just a set of teeth and gums. We just want you and your family to be happy and healthy!
Meet Our Doctor
Dane Grovenstein, DMD
Dr. Dane Grovenstein was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Biomedical Science and a minor in Music Performance (trumpet) in 2010.
In 2012, he completed his Masters in Biology at Auburn, and in 2016 he became a DMD, graduating from the University of Alabama Dental School. He recently earned his certification to administer in-office conscious sedation.
For Dr. Grovenstein, the best part of his job is the opportunity to improve his patients’ overall health by providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment.
When he’s not helping patients in the office, Dr. Grovenstein loves to spend time with his wife, Johanna, play with his son James who they welcomed to the world in 2017, as well as read books and play video games.
“I want our office to be a place that patients can trust—easy, convenient, and as painless as possible, where we calm dental fears and explain what’s happening. We won’t talk over your head, and no question is a silly question with us.”
